Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onions to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.
Stir in minced garlic and diced bell pepper; cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the ground turkey.
Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
Once the turkey is browned, add the canned tomatoes and cooked rice.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
