Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapenos
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, cheese, flour, baking powder, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Using your hands, mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
  4. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm, with your favorite dipping sauces if desired.
