  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup sliced cheese optional
  • Lettuce and tomato for topping optional

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and form into patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and toast them, if desired.
  8. Assemble the sliders by placing a turkey patty on the bottom half of each roll, adding toppings as desired, and closing with the top half of the roll.
