Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • Whole grain or lettuce wraps for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equally sized patties, about 1 inch thick.
  4. Drizzle olive oil onto the grill or skillet, reducing the risk of sticking.
  5. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve in whole grain buns or lettuce wraps, adding your favorite toppings.
