Savor the Flavor of Salmon Black Bean Nachos

Salmon Black Bean Nachos made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups tortilla chips
  • 1 cup cooked salmon flaked
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ripe avocado sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalapeño sliced (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lime

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  3. Flake the cooked salmon and distribute it over the chips.
  4. Add the rinsed black beans on top of the salmon.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before adding the fresh toppings.
  8. Top with sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeños, and lime juice just before serving.
