Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 1 medium ripe tomato sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Method
 

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Assemble the sandwich by placing mozzarella, tomato, and basil on one slice of bread, and drizzle balsamic glaze on top.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add the sandwich.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
