Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1/2 cup cooked vegetables spinach, bell peppers, etc.
  • Optional: cooked meat bacon, ham, etc.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by mixing flour, butter, and salt.
  3. Press the dough into a greased muffin tin.
  4. Blind bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and cream.
  6. Stir in cheese, cooked vegetables, and optional meat.
  7. Fill the pre-baked crusts with the egg mixture.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until set.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before removing from muffin tin.
