Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Shape the chicken mixture into heart shapes.
  5. Set up a dredging station with one bowl of beaten egg and another with a mix of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  6. Dip each heart-shaped nugget into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Place the breaded nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Lightly spray the nuggets with cooking oil or drizzle with olive oil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  10. Remove the nuggets from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
