Delightful Baked Irish Nachos for Home Gatherings

BAKED IRISH NACHOS made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and thinly slice the russet potatoes into rounds.
  3. Toss the potato slices in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the potato slices for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove the potatoes from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar cheese and bacon evenly over the top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  8. Top the cooked nachos with sour cream and green onions before serving.
