Delicious Spinach and Artichoke Dip for Home Cooks

Spinach and Artichoke Dip made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 can 14 oz artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach and artichokes.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the bowl.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips, bread, or fresh vegetables.
