  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk or dairy alternative
  • 1/2 cup yogurt optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweetener honey, maple syrup, or agave
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Toppings of choice e.g., fruits, nuts, seeds

Method
 

  1. Combine oats, milk, yogurt, and chia seeds in a jar.
  2. Add sweetener and vanilla extract, if using.
  3. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the mixture and adjust thickness.
