Ingredients
  

  • 2 to 3 pounds of turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey breast by patting it dry.
  3. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear both sides of the turkey breast.
  5. Transfer the seared turkey breast to a baking dish and add chicken broth.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice and cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Roast in the oven for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Allow the turkey to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
