Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet.
Bake the tater tots according to package instructions, usually 25-30 minutes.
While the tots bake, cook the bacon until crispy.
Remove the baked tater tots from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
Chop the cooked bacon and sprinkle it over the cheese-covered tots.
Return the loaded tots to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with a side of sour cream.
