Delicious Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies Recipe

BACON WRAPPED LITTLE SMOKIES made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 14 oz little smokies
  • 1 pound bacon cut into thirds
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  3. Cut each bacon strip into thirds, then wrap each little smokie with a piece of bacon.
  4. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Place the wrapped smokies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder over the wrapped sausages if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
