Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Rub the chuck roast with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the roast in the air fryer basket for 20 minutes.
- Add the quartered onion, minced garlic, carrots, and celery around the roast.
- Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle with dried thyme.
- Air fry the pot roast for 60-70 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 190°F (88°C).
- Let the roast rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
