Decadent Andes Mint Chip Ice Cream at Home

Andes Mint Chip Ice Cream made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup Andes Mint chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Combine the cream and milk in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker.
  6. Churn according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
  7. Fold in the Andes Mint chocolate chips.
  8. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze it.
