Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly, then spread them on a clean towel to dry.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the dried chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the hot chickpeas.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is golden and crispy.
  8. Let the crisps cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
