Crispy Air Fryer Crab Cakes for Home Cooks

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray for air frying

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches wide.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the crab cakes in the basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Air fry the crab cakes for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove the crab cakes from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
