Cranberry Jello Salad for Festive Gatherings

Cranberry Jello Salad made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 6 oz of raspberry or cranberry Jello
  • 2 cups of fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of crushed pineapple drained
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup of whipped topping

Method
 

  1. Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
  2. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Incorporate cold water.
  4. Stir in cranberries and crushed pineapple.
  5. Fold in mini marshmallows and nuts.
  6. Spoon the mixture into a serving dish.
  7. Chill until set, about 4-6 hours.
  8. Top with whipped topping before serving.
