Crafting Your Own Delicious Hamburger Helper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups pasta elbow or shell
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk or a milk alternative
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the cooked beef.
  3. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  4. Stir in the pasta, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and milk.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover.
  6. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is cooked through.
  7. Once the pasta is tender, remove from heat and stir in the cheese.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve hot.
