Crafting the Perfect Classic Cheese Ball

Classic Cheese Ball made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts pecans or walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Mix the cream cheese and cheddar together until smooth.
  2. Add blue cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  4. Chop nuts finely and prepare a coating surface.
  5. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and roll in the nuts until coated.
  6. Serve with crackers, vegetables, or fruits.
