Crafting Dandelion Kombucha at Home

Dandelion Kombucha made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups water
  • 4-5 dandelion greens
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4-5 bags of black tea
  • 2 cups kombucha from a previous batch or store-bought
  • SCOBY approximately 1 cup

Method
 

  1. Prepare the tea base.
  2. Cool the tea mixture.
  3. Combine ingredients in a fermentation jar.
  4. Cover and ferment.
  5. Bottling the kombucha.
  6. Second fermentation.
  7. Chill and enjoy.
