Comforting Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken Dish for Everyone

SLOW COOKER RITZ CHICKEN made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers about 30-35 crackers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare the slow cooker.
  2. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, mix crushed Ritz crackers with shredded cheese.
  7. Sprinkle the cracker-cheese mixture on top of the chicken in the slow cooker.
  8. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high to melt the topping.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your meal!
