Carrots with a Sweet and Spicy Honey Sriracha Glaze

Honey Sriracha Glazed Carrots made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of carrots peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • Optional: chopped cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine honey, Sriracha, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated carrots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast the carrots in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired and serve warm.
